Description
The U.S. Navy seeks a qualified SeaPort NxG small-business task-order holder to provide administrative engineering support for Assault Craft Unit Five. The contractor will maintain the physical and electronic Planning and Estimating Technical Library; provide Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) subject-matter expertise; analyze maintenance packages; enter completed maintenance documentation into the Maintenance Planning Tool; conduct Craft Material Inspections in preparation for Inspection and Survey assessments; and report findings and status to maintenance leadership. Additional responsibilities include developing and overseeing shop-equipment maintenance plans, diagnosing equipment issues, coordinating repairs and vendors, maintaining maintenance logs and spare-parts inventories, preparing weekly equipment-readiness reports, conducting safety inspections, and developing and delivering equipment-operation and safety training. The effort requires one key Administrative Engineer with specified LCAC experience, Microsoft Access or Excel experience, a high school diploma or GED, and an active Secret clearance at proposal submission. The contract is firm-fixed-price with a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, plus a separately priced six-month extension option.
