The U.S. Coast Guard seeks a contractor to completely renovate two UPH bathrooms in Building C-2 at Sector San Diego. The work includes demolition of existing flooring, plumbing fixtures, partitions, shower pans, mirrors, and dispensers; installation of approximately 240 square feet of heavy-duty waterproof vinyl flooring; new toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, valves, flushometers, partitions, shower pans, mirrors, and dispensers; utility reconnection; functional and leak testing; and final cleanup. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, tools, supervision, containment, monitoring, and debris disposal. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage requirements for San Diego County. Disturbance or abatement of identified asbestos-containing material is prohibited, while lead-safe work practices and waste characterization are required for applicable demolition debris. The period of performance is 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. Interested vendors may attend a site visit, and a REAL ID is required for facility access.
