Description
The U.S. Department of State is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive common-waste management services for the U.S. Warehouse La Paz. Services include waste collection three days per week, waste separation and classification, transportation to authorized material recovery or disposal facilities, recycling and proper disposal with documentation and traceability, monthly environmental-impact reporting, and cleanup of collection-area spills. The contractor must be a licensed waste service provider in Guatemala and provide required permits, disposal and recycling facility information, a safety plan, proof of liability insurance, security-clearance documentation for personnel, vehicle registration documentation, a quality-control program, and a strategic service plan. The contract is firm fixed price for a 12-month base period with one 12-month option period. Proposals must be submitted in English and include the completed solicitation, pricing representations and certifications, proof of SAM registration, required licenses and permits, past-performance information, facility details, safety plan, insurance documentation or an insurance commitment statement, and other information specified in the solicitation. Amendment 0001 schedules a new site visit for September 9, 2026, and extends the offer deadline to September 20, 2026.
