Description
The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada requires a team of qualified interpreters to provide simultaneous interpretation between English and French for Regional and Strategic Assessment Division meetings and engagement activities. Services may be delivered virtually, in person, or in hybrid formats, supporting working groups, advisory meetings, stakeholder engagements, and similar events. Virtual meetings are generally two to three hours, while in-person or hybrid meetings may last two days and may require interpretation equipment and support personnel. Proposed interpreters, including backup resources, must each have at least two years of cumulative English-French simultaneous interpretation experience acquired within the 10 years preceding bid closing. The proposal must include project summaries for each proposed resource and client references validating two projects. The requirement includes up to 53 virtual meetings and up to seven two-day in-person meetings over the contract period. Selection is based on the highest combined technical merit and price, weighted 60% technical merit and 40% price; only Canadian suppliers are eligible.
