Description
The City of Beaumont is requesting proposals from qualified firms, associations, or independent contractor organizations to provide on-call officiating services for city-sponsored youth and adult sports leagues, tournaments, clinics, special events, and related athletic programs. Services may include youth and adult volleyball, basketball, soccer, flag football, futsal, and adult slow-pitch softball, as well as additional sports and athletic activities assigned during the contract term. The contractor must recruit, compensate, schedule, supervise, and manage qualified officials; provide sport-specific training, certifications, uniforms, equipment, transportation, emergency replacement officials, and incident reporting; conduct background checks for officials assigned to youth programs; and support multiple concurrent games and events. The initial contract term is three years, with two optional one-year extensions. The City does not guarantee a minimum number of assignments, games, hours, or compensation. Proposals must include a signed cover letter, service approach, contractor profile, references, scope of services, staffing and service delivery plan, separate detailed cost proposal, current contract information, and additional information. Submissions must be made electronically through the designated bidding portal as separate proposal and cost-proposal PDF files.
