Description
The West Virginia Purchasing Division, on behalf of the West Virginia Racing Commission and the Department of Revenue, is soliciting bids for an open-end master agreement for veterinary services at Mountaineer Casino Resort & Races. Required services include pre-race examinations, live race-card veterinary duties, agency, state, and national reporting, test-barn oversight, horse fitness assessments, oversight of urine and blood sampling, Vet List administration, emergency treatment during live races, liaison support, and maintenance of treatment and performance records. The vendor or assigned veterinary staff must possess a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, at least five years of paid racetrack veterinary experience, and licensure and certification by the West Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine. Pricing must be entered on the provided pricing page for pre-race examinations, live race-day veterinary and reporting requirements, and Vet List work; award is based on the lowest overall total cost meeting the specifications.
