Description
The City of Calgary is soliciting proposals for the Track Package of the Green Line Light Rail Transit (LRT) project. The scope includes three options: Scope A (Main Line Track from Ramsay Inglewood Station to the end of project limits), Scope B (Maintenance & Storage Facility track), and Scope C (combined). Work encompasses ballasted and direct fixation track supply and installation, special trackwork (turnouts, crossovers), track-related equipment, ducting, cable containment, temporary works, support of excavation, laydown areas, traffic management, noise and vibration mitigation, environmental measures, and all associated labour, materials, and equipment. The contractor will also be responsible for system assurance including factory and site acceptance testing, integration testing, and commissioning. Interfaces with other construction packages such as stations, bridges, and utility zones are included.
