Description
The City of Calgary is soliciting proposals for the Track Package of the Green Line Light Rail Transit project. The procurement is divided into Scope A for main line track, Scope B for Maintenance and Storage Facility track, and Scope C for the combined package. Work includes the design, supply, fabrication, delivery, installation, adjustment, inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover of ballasted and direct-fixation track, running rail, Jordan rail, ties, ballast, special trackwork, crossings, track equipment, ducting, cable containment, track drainage interfaces, concrete plinths, temporary works, traffic management, environmental mitigation, and related labour, supervision, materials, plant, and equipment. The contractor must provide system assurance and testing, including factory acceptance testing, factory integration testing, pre-installation check-out, site acceptance testing, integrated interface testing, trial-running support, closeout evidence, and acceptance testing. The work also requires coordination with stations, bridges, the maintenance facility, roads, pedestrian crossings, utility zones, communications and traction power systems, and signaling and train control systems.
