Description
Washington County Community College is soliciting proposals for two separately awardable systems: a diesel engine training system and a gasoline engine training system for hands-on instruction in automotive and diesel technology programs. Bidders may propose either item or both, and equivalent equipment or alternative configurations will be considered if they meet or exceed the stated requirements. Each proposed system must be complete and operational, with modern engine technology, electronic engine management, diagnostic access, instructor-controlled fault simulation, electrical test access, controls and instrumentation, cooling/fuel/exhaust provisions, safety features, documentation, curriculum or instructional resources, warranty and support. Proposals must address delivery, freight, installation or commissioning, facility and utility requirements, initial instructor training, technical specifications, included equipment and services, exclusions, lead time, itemized pricing, and optional accessories. The solicitation requires the completed Bid Submission Form and Technical Compliance Form, along with technical literature and the requested proposal details.
