Description
The British Columbia Independent Gambling Control Office is requesting proposals for seasonal on-call veterinarian services at Desert Park Raceway in Osoyoos, British Columbia. The selected contractor will perform the duties of Official Veterinarian when the primary Official Veterinarian is unavailable. Duties include conducting veterinary inspections of horses, placing horses on the Veterinarian list, observing horses to be removed, attending to horses in distress during races, and performing euthanasia of severely injured horses. The estimated contract period is 31 months.
