Description
The California Correctional Training and Rehabilitation Authority (CALCTRA) is soliciting Live Scan services throughout California for prospective hires and existing staff, including non-sworn law enforcement personnel and contractors. The scope includes fingerprint rolling at contractor locations, mobile Live Scan services at CALCTRA hiring events and correctional institutions, statewide access to physical fingerprinting stations, and support for secure online scheduling and Live Scan software portals, including Biometrics4ALL, Inc. The contractor must provide certified fingerprint rollers, equipment, transportation, network connectivity, staffing, encrypted transmission of applicant information to the California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation, appointment and transaction reporting, and monthly invoicing support. The contractor must process an estimated 50–100 candidates per month statewide, including rural areas, maintain DOJ-issued Fingerprint Roller Certifications, provide toll-free scheduling during specified business hours, and support walk-in and scheduled appointments. Subcontracting is not permitted. Addendum 1 adds Exhibit 1, the CALCTRA Enterprise Map, identifying CALCTRA locations throughout the state.
