Description
The City of Lee's Summit is soliciting unarmed security guard services for its Municipal Court. The contractor must provide trained and uniformed personnel to screen courtroom entrants using City-provided X-ray and metal-detector equipment, patrol the facility and parking areas, control access, secure doors, respond to security threats and emergencies, assist with first aid situations, and prepare daily activity and incident reports. Estimated coverage is approximately 100 hours per month, including two guards for eight hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays and one guard for four hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Guards must hold a Class B commission issued by the Lee's Summit Police Department or an authorized private security license, meet specified physical and communication requirements, complete contractor-provided basic and site-specific training, and carry required uniforms and equipment. The bid requires an Offer, Price Sheet, applicable professional licenses or certifications, the DBE/WBE and Missouri Service-Disabled Veteran Status form, three recent references, and any applicable addenda acknowledgment.
