Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, intends to solicit and negotiate solely with the Washington State Patrol for telecommunications dispatch services supporting the district. The procurement is justified as a sole-source acquisition because applicable law authorizes the Corps to contract with states and their political subdivisions for law enforcement services, and the agency states that no other available sources can provide the required services. This is a special notice and not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No award will be made based on responses to the notice. Interested parties may submit written capability information demonstrating clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition would benefit the Government.
