Description
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is seeking a quote for a one-time full roof replacement on Cabins 8 and 10 at Mills Norrie State Park campground. The approximately 960-square-foot project includes removing and disposing of existing shingles and sheathing; installing 5/8-inch plywood sheathing, ice and water shield, tar paper, charcoal asphalt starter, architectural, and cap shingles; installing drip edge and necessary flashing; and clearing all debris. The work must comply with applicable laws, building codes, fall-protection requirements, and safety regulations. A mandatory pre-proposal site visit is required before submitting a quote. The awarded contractor must be available to begin upon receipt of a purchase order and perform the work during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The quote must be submitted on the provided RFQ document. If the quote is $15,000 or more, the additional certifications included in the RFQ are required. Prevailing wage requirements apply, and contractors and subcontractors must satisfy the applicable New York State public-work registration requirements.
