Description
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is seeking a qualified contractor to design, manufacture, test, and deliver pre-wired signal houses and cases for the New Haven Line from Norwalk, CT to Bridgeport, CT, covering control points CP-244 through CP-257. The work includes new interlocking equipment, intermediate signal locations, and upgrades to existing interlockings, all to replace the existing vital relay-based signal system with a new microprocessor-based system. The contractor will be responsible for the complete design, fabrication, factory testing, and delivery of the pre-wired enclosures, including all internal equipment, wiring, and documentation. The project also includes training, field support during installation and cutover, and the provision of spare parts and diagnostic equipment.
