Description
Raleigh Housing Authority is seeking an experienced communications or public relations firm or consultant to serve as a part-time, as-needed strategic communications partner to its Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership team. The scope includes communications strategy, public relations and media relations, executive and organizational communications, crisis communications, and stakeholder and government relations communications. Services may include preparing press releases, media statements, speeches, talking points, presentations, newsletters, opinion editorials, briefing materials, and executive correspondence; coordinating media inquiries; preparing executives for interviews and public appearances; supporting major initiatives, development projects, acquisitions, legislative engagement, public announcements, and crisis situations; and providing reasonably available after-hours crisis support. The engagement is expected to have an initial one-year term with the potential for two additional one-year extensions. Proposals must include a separate cost proposal with hourly rates and any proposed retainer or fixed-fee pricing. Proof of insurance is required after contract award, not with the proposal.
