Description
The City of Raleigh is soliciting proposals from one or more firms to provide on-call and emergency services for City-owned or leased public art under master service agreements. Work will be authorized through separate purchase orders and may include custom fabrication to approved artist designs, installation, consultation with City staff and artists, maintenance and repair, de-installation and re-installation, utilities and footers, and electrical installation or repair related to public-art lighting. Contractors must provide the personnel, equipment, materials, transportation, tools, supervision, licenses, permits, and other resources needed for each assignment; respond within two hours to emergency requests and within 24 hours to non-emergency requests; provide written estimates separating labor, materials, and special equipment; and restore work sites after completion. The scope specifically includes metal cutting, etching, welding, painting, and powder coating, as well as coordination of utility locates, inspections, and applicable North Carolina electrical licensing. Proposers may bid on one or more service areas and must submit the required company profile, proposal cost form, questionnaire, references, financial information, approach, staffing, and related proposal materials.
