Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation's Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division is soliciting a contractor to furnish, deliver, maintain, service, and remove portable chemical toilet units at Donner Summit and Taylor Creek SNO-Parks. The scope includes regular pumping and chemical replacement, interior and exterior cleaning, replenishment of toilet paper and seat covers, repairs, deodorants and disinfectants, waste removal and off-site disposal, snow and ice clearance around units, service logs, and before-and-after photographs emailed to the Winter Recreation Program Manager. The contract is for three winter seasons, with service generally running from November through May. Donner Summit requires service at least twice weekly and Taylor Creek at least once weekly, subject to written schedule adjustments for snow conditions and operational needs. ADA-accessible units may be requested, and the contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, permits, and resources necessary for performance.
