Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation is soliciting bids for sewage pumping services at Hearst San Simeon State Park Campground. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, sewage pumping trucks, water, and incidental safety materials needed to pump and clean four holding tanks and four sand traps, remove non-waste materials, prevent spills, dispose of wastewater off-site, and submit service logs and waste-disposal receipts. Services include scheduled routine pumping, additional services when requested, tank inspections, cleaning, and evaluation reports. The estimated contract term is November 23, 2026, through November 22, 2031, or 60 months from Department of General Services approval, whichever is later. The estimated total contract cost is $560,000. The prime contractor must maintain a valid San Luis Obispo County Liquid Waste Hauler's permit, and services must be performed by trained service technicians. Bids must use the provided bid forms and include the required declarations, certifications, and disclosures identified in the bid checklist.
