Description
Alameda County Behavioral Health Department is seeking qualified providers for specialized eating disorder treatment services through a pool of contractors. The County will refer clients who are not successfully managing symptoms through existing outpatient treatment or who require a higher level of care. The opportunity is specifically for specialized eating disorder treatment providers, not standard mental health outpatient providers with an eating-disorder focus. Services address eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, and other specified feeding or eating disorder. Existing requirements include residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, transitional housing, and other specialized services, using evidence-based practices with licensed dietitian monitoring and medication support where applicable.
