Description
The California Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, is soliciting three years of boiler maintenance services for six atmospheric boilers at Joe Serna Jr. Building 024. The scope includes annual preventive maintenance, flue gas testing, foreseeable and unforeseeable repairs, emergency repair services, parts replacement, and up to 40 hours of technical support per 12-month period. Services must be performed by a contractor holding either a valid California Class C-4 Boiler, Hot Water Heating, and Steam Fitting license or a valid Class C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning license issued by the California Contractors State License Board. Addendum 1 clarifies that the C-20 license is an acceptable alternative to the C-4 license. Bidders must provide current proof of general liability, commercial automobile, and workers' compensation insurance; at least three similar references from the past five years; and a minimum 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation commitment. The bid package must include the required state forms, references, insurance proof, cost sheet, and certifications, and must be submitted as a sealed bid by mail or hand delivery.
