Description
Sacramento County seeks a qualified correctional healthcare organization to provide a global organizational and process assessment of its Adult Correctional Health system, medical-standard-of-care training, leadership coaching, policy review and revision recommendations, quality-improvement guidance, workflow and operational-efficiency recommendations, and technical assistance and oversight. The scope includes medical services, intake, medication management, chronic care, emergency response, training programs, death-in-custody reviews, corrective-action planning, and collaboration with correctional healthcare and custody personnel, legal counsel, court-appointed subject-matter experts, class counsel, and County leadership. Services must be available on site at both the Sacramento Main Jail and Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center, with assigned staff able to pass the Sheriff's background clearance. Deliverables may include organizational and medical-services assessment reports, workflow maps, revised clinical policies and procedures, implementation plans, training gap analyses and curricula, quality dashboards and corrective-action plans, root-cause-analysis reports, and a final summary report. The proposal must address five narrative questions, each with stated page limits, and include the required exhibits, insurance documentation, budget materials, and proposal narrative.
