Description
The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, through International Affairs and Trade, seeks one qualified organization to deliver a four-phase medical-device export accelerator. The work includes developing a market-evaluation methodology; researching and prioritizing international markets based on commercial, regulatory, reimbursement, trade, distribution, and market-entry factors; and producing draft and final market-prioritization reports and supporting research. The selected contractor will also develop and deliver virtual export-readiness training, recruit and screen participating companies, conduct market-fit assessments for up to three markets per eligible company, and provide written recommendations and consultations. The final phase supports up to 20 California small medical-device companies through individualized coaching, regulatory and legal guidance, market-entry planning, and three to five virtual matchmaking meetings per company. Required deliverables include training materials, captions and transcripts, reports, partner due-diligence records, progress tracking, and a final program report. The proposed budget may not exceed $150,000, with a recommended budget of $120,000.
