Description
The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County is soliciting bids for painting services for a tank located at 124 Park and Pool Road, New Stanton, Pennsylvania. Proposals must be submitted by 10:00 AM prevailing time on June 29, 2026. Contract documents, including drawings and detailed specifications, are available from Gibson-Thomas Engineering at 1004 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650. Copies can be obtained by calling 724-539-8562 between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with a non-refundable fee of $150.00 per set. Questions regarding the project must be submitted to Chris Wharton by 4:00 PM on June 23rd, 2026, via fax to (724) 539-3697 or email to chris.wharton@gibson-thomas.com. All bid packages must be clearly marked "PROPOSAL ENCLOSED - CONTRACT R054.26" on the lower left corner of the bid envelopes. Bids will be opened and read publicly at the Distribution and Engineering Office Building #3. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, made in favor of the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County. Bids cannot be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after submission. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages are applicable to this project. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality.
