Description
The City of Pittsburgh, through its Office of Management & Budget and on behalf of the Bureau of Police, is seeking bids for the rental of five walkthrough metal detectors. This is a one-time purchase requirement for a single day of service on July 4, 2026. The rental includes delivery, setup, and takedown of the equipment at 601 Commonwealth Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. On-site staff training on the equipment is also required. The setup is scheduled for 9:00 am EDT and takedown for 11:00 pm EDT on July 4, 2026. Bids submitted for this opportunity must not exceed $30,000. Shipping and delivery costs must be included in the vendor's submitted pricing proposal, as the City of Pittsburgh will not pay for or reimburse separate shipping, handling, or delivery fees. Purchase orders placed under this solicitation will be F.O.B. Destination.
