Description
The City of Pittsburgh Office of Management & Budget, on behalf of the Department of Mobility & Infrastructure, is soliciting bids for the construction of traffic signal replacements at two intersections: Beechwood Boulevard/Linden Avenue/Wilkins Avenue and Brownsville Road/Maytide Street/Sankey Avenue. The work includes installation of new traffic signal supports (mast arms), Type 2070 controller assemblies, vehicular and pedestrian signal heads (LED countdown), accessible pedestrian signals (APS), video detection systems, conduit and cable, junction boxes, electrical service, concrete deep curb, curb ramps, sidewalk, detectable warning surfaces, pavement restoration, and landscaping restoration. The project also involves maintenance and protection of traffic during construction, utility investigation, and hydroexcavation for signal pole foundations. All work must comply with PennDOT Publication 408, City of Pittsburgh Standards, and applicable federal requirements including Davis-Bacon wages.
