Description
The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington (RACW) is soliciting bids for the construction of the Canonsburg Senior Center Renovation Project (NO. LS 25-03). Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 AM on July 8, 2026, at the RACW office located at 90 West Chestnut Street, Suite 700, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301. Electronic copies of contract documents, including drawings, technical specifications, and bid forms, can be obtained via email from Kulak-George Architects. A non-refundable payment of $85.00, payable to Kulak-George Architects, is required for each set of printed contract documents, including shipping if required. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Canonsburg Senior Citizens Center, 30 E. Pike Street, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Bidders must submit a bid guaranty of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. The contract will require adherence to minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents, and contractors must ensure non-discrimination in employment practices. RACW reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. Bids may be held for up to forty-five (45) days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications. The contractor must be able to initiate work within 14 days of contract execution and complete the work within 60 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.
