Description
This solicitation is for services to repair approximately 20% of the deteriorated concrete overhangs on the Annex Building at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India. The total area of the overhangs is approximately 15,000 square feet, with the damaged sections covering about 3,000 square feet and located approximately 25 feet above ground. The scope of work includes restoring structural integrity and appearance by repairing damaged areas, applying polymer-modified cement plaster, and finishing with weather-resistant white paint and an anti-carbonation protective coating. The project execution plan includes site preparation, scaffolding erection and certification by a third-party expert, surface preparation, repair and plastering with specified materials, and final cleanup. A one-year warranty on the repair work is required. The contract duration is expected to be 60 days. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and meet specific qualification requirements, including English proficiency, prior construction experience, adequate financial resources, and the ability to obtain necessary bonds and insurance.
