Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters requires renovation services for Suite 304 at Bldg. 2592, U.S. Army Mission Support Battalion. The scope of work includes surface preparation, painting of walls and door frames, installation of 2x2 dimmable LED lights, and complete replacement of ceiling tiles and grid systems. The contract will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a small business set-aside. All work must be completed within 120 days of contract award. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the renovation. This includes careful removal and disposal of existing ceiling tiles and grid systems, followed by the installation of new high NRC tiles and a suspended grid. Wall preparation will involve cleaning, patching, and sanding, followed by one coat of primer and two coats of paint. Door frames will be prepped and painted with semi-gloss paint, with hardware protected or removed. The new lighting will consist of 2x2 dimmable LED lights with a white supply diffuser. Contractors must be US citizens or nationals and possess a valid government ID and driver's license to enter facilities. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required. Insurance will be required in accordance with FAR 52.228-5, and prevailing wage rates must be paid. A site visit is strongly recommended and will take place on July 1, 2026, at 9 am at Bldg. 2592, 7701 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, Virginia 22315.
