Description
The U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt requires professional services for renovation work at CAC 4. The project encompasses a wide range of tasks including ceiling, flooring, painting, wall protection, anti-slip application, ceramic tiles, window sills, sewer connections, lawn grass pavers, bollards, canopy installation, electrical work, and the procurement and installation of cabinets. All work must comply with US and/or European Standards, with the more stringent standard taking precedence. The contractor must provide a German-speaking site supervisor and ensure all personnel undergo security background checks. Materials must be approved, and varying work schedules may be required. The contractor is responsible for all site management, including health and safety, welfare, first aid, and subcontractor management. Risk assessments and method statements must be provided prior to commencing work on site. Key tasks include interior wall, floor, and ceiling painting; replacement of grid-type ceilings and vinyl flooring; replacement of ceramic tiles; installation of wall protection boards; painting of metal and wood doors and frames; slip-resistance application in the vehicle control area; facade painting and impregnation; installation of lawn grass pavers; procurement and setup of a janitorial cabinet; and procurement and installation of a glass canopy. All work must be planned and scheduled at least two weeks in advance and coordinated with all involved parties. The contractor must ensure a clean workplace upon completion.
