Metropolitan Utilities District (MUD) is soliciting bids for the sandblasting and painting of district fire hydrants for calendar years 2026 and 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically through the MUD ProcureWare website by Thursday, July 16th, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Bidders must comply with the Nebraska Foreign Adversary Contracting Prohibition Act. Bid documents will be available for download from the Procurement Portal starting Wednesday, June 17th, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Metropolitan Utilities District, 7350 World Communications Drive, Omaha, Nebraska 68122. Attendance at this meeting is required for bid acceptance. Those planning to attend must contact Jared Tomes in Plant Engineering at least 24 hours in advance.
