Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is soliciting proposals for construction work to facilitate infrastructure upgrades at multiple buildings on the VAPHS University Drive VA campus. These upgrades are necessary to support the new Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) system. The project will impact buildings 1, 5, 8, 29, 30, and 33, as well as the site itself. The scope of work includes the construction of new towers, modifications to existing rooms and telecommunication closets, and renovations involving new walls, doors, and finishes. The total existing space affected is approximately 3,030 SF, with new tower additions totaling 11,600 SF. Construction work will encompass general construction, structural, mechanical and HVAC, plumbing and fire protection, electrical, and information technology trades. The project must also comply with VA's Infrastructure Standard for Telecommunications Spaces (ISTS) V4.0 and the VA Physical Security Design and Resiliency Manual (PDRSM) requirements. The period of performance is 730 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation is advertised as unrestricted and open to all interested parties.
