Description
The 171st Air Refueling Wing, Pennsylvania Air National Guard, intends to award a sole source purchase order for the Advantor 6.2 security system. This upgrade is necessary due to the mandated end-of-life status of the current ASN 5.0 system and the requirement for a secure, Windows 10-compliant operating environment. The Advantor 6.2 system will enhance situational awareness for the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) and ensure compatibility with current Air Force Life Cycle Management Center requirements. Advantor is the only approved company for Air Force security systems, as they are compliant with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705. Furthermore, Advantor maintains patented equipment and data, which they exclusively manage. Implementing any other system would necessitate a complete re-accreditation of base systems, potentially disrupting mission execution. Therefore, Advantor is the only source that can fulfill this requirement without breaching terms with existing Advantor products.
