Description
The Steel Rivers Council of Governments is soliciting sealed proposals for CD 51-3.12.8, which involves sanitary sewer point repairs within the City of Clairton. The project scope includes the replacement of sanitary sewer lines, pipe bursting, cast-in-place pipe lining, manhole replacement, roadway reconstruction, erosion and sediment control, site restoration, and traffic control. Specific locations for the work include Saint Clair Avenue, State Street, Walnut Street, Constitution Circle, Glenn Street, Rainbow Way, Rankin Street, Connecticut Avenue, Ohio Avenue, Division Avenue, Beech Way, 4th Street, Wylie Avenue, Marion Circle, and Woodall. Proposals must include a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount. The solicitation also requires compliance with various federal and local regulations, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Equal Opportunity Clause, Executive Orders related to Minority and Female Business Enterprise utilization, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program, and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
