Description
Clay County, Missouri is soliciting proposals for general painting and repair services for all county facilities. This opportunity is being issued as a Qualified Vendors List (QVL), meaning multiple vendors may be accepted and awarded contracts. The selected vendors will be responsible for providing services on an as-needed basis, responding to both planned projects and unforeseen situations. Services will include preparation, painting, and finishing work on various interior and exterior surfaces, including concrete, masonry, metal, wood, drywall, and vinyl siding. Vendors must be able to submit binding project specifications and cost estimates within seven business days of notification and will be required to have sufficient resources to manage multiple jobs simultaneously. Emergency services must be responded to within four hours of notification, while non-emergency services should be scheduled within three working days. All work must be performed during regular working hours unless otherwise authorized. A minimum of five years of experience in similar services is required, and vendors must provide at least three references from public entities, local governments, or private companies. The contract period will be for one year from the date of award, with four one-year renewal options.
