Description
The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is soliciting quotations for painting and flooring maintenance services for Building 04 at their Scientia Campus. The scope of work includes carpet replacement, interior and exterior wall painting, window frame rust treatment and glazing, and woodwork repair for panels and doors. Key requirements include the use of specific paint brands like Plascon or Micatex, and Belgotex or equivalent Berberpoint carpets. Bidders must provide a minimum of three contactable reference letters for similar scope of work completed within the last five years (2021-2026). A valid letter of good standing from the Department of Employment & Labour (COIDA) or an approved private insurance firm, and proof of CIDB registration of 1 GB or higher are also mandatory. The evaluation will follow an 80/20 preference points system, with points awarded for price and Black Ownership.
