Description
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is soliciting bids for new hazardous waste containers and related packaging supplies, including plastic and steel drums, pails, carboys, salvage and overpack drums, an overpack lid, a poisonous-by-inhalation box kit, and vermiculite. The solicitation lists specific container sizes, UN ratings, materials, and configurations. The awarded supplier must provide palletized delivery and offload the ordered supplies at the University's Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility. Bidders must submit pricing that includes transportation and delivery charges, descriptive literature, applicable certifications, a manufacturer's standard warranty, and the required reference and vendor certification materials. The contract is planned as an initial one-year term with up to two additional one-year renewal terms.
