Description
The City of Oxnard is soliciting a contractor for the Wastewater OWTP: Digester Improvement – New Boiler Installation project, Specification No. PW 25-70. The work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidental work to demolish an existing building and install and construct a new boiler and related systems. The project is a lump-sum bid with a 500-working-day duration and requires a Class A – General Engineering contractor's license. Bidders must submit all bid information, required documents, and pricing electronically through the designated procurement portal by the deadline. A 10 percent bid security is required and must be mailed or delivered separately by the bid due date. The project also requires 100 percent payment and performance bonds. The solicitation identifies a non-mandatory onsite pre-bid meeting, an online Q&A deadline, prevailing-wage and related regulatory compliance, and liquidated damages of $2,500 per calendar day.
