Description
Santa Barbara County is soliciting a contractor to perform storm-damage repairs and preventive measures for an arch culvert at Calle Real and Canada del Corral. The work includes mobilization, traffic control, temporary creek diversion and dewatering, culvert cleaning and inspection, drilling and epoxy bonding of reinforcement, welded-wire reinforcement, shotcrete, grout-port installation, slurry-cement backfill, concrete-invert repairs, and restoration of the creek and work area. The project has an estimated cost of $175,500 and must be completed within 14 working days. Bidders must hold a Class A license or an eligible combination of Class C licenses. Prevailing-wage, public-works registration, environmental protection, water-pollution-control, and traffic-control requirements apply. A 10% bid bond is required, while payment and performance bonds are each required at 100% of the total bid after award.
