Description
The Southern California Regional Rail Authority is soliciting a lump-sum construction contractor to rehabilitate four rural bridges on its Ventura County rail subdivision and perform scour mitigation. The work may include earthwork, channel work, structural work, and coordination with Union Pacific Railroad, third-party railroad contractors, signal and communications contractors, and agency personnel. The opportunity requires a California Contractors State License Board General Engineering (Class A) license. The response must be submitted electronically and includes required line-item pricing and response files, including a bidders/proposers list, proposed project manager cover letter, subcontractor and supplier list, federal certifications, bid letter, responsible bidders questionnaire, general certifications, campaign contribution certification, hiring and lobbyist restrictions certifications, and lists of current and completed contracts.
