Description
Escambia County Waste Services Department is requesting a written quote from a Florida-licensed driller to install three two-inch groundwater monitoring wells at the closed Klondike Landfill. The work includes obtaining drilling and well-installation permits, coordinating utility locating, drilling three continuous borings with sampling, installing the wells, placing silica-sand filter packs, sand seals, bentonite pellets, and neat cement grout, and completing each well with a lockable aluminum cover, concrete pad, and etched label. The wells must also be developed and purged. The solicitation requires applicable licensing and qualification documentation, including a Florida water-well contractor license, proof of business registration, a W-9, and supporting technical or product documentation. Required insurance includes workers' compensation or an approved exemption, general liability, business auto liability, and pollution liability coverage. Pricing is requested for mobilization/demobilization, permitting and environmental fees, and the complete monitoring-well installation work.
