INVITATION TO BID The CITY OF PENSACOLA will receive sealed bids as listed below. Specifications and addenda will be posted to the Citys website at www.cityofpensacola.com/bids.aspx. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held 08-25-26, 10:00A.M., Central time, in the Public Conference Room 224 at Pensacola International Airport, 2430 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, Florida, and via Microsoft Teams, participation details in bid package. Description
The City of Pensacola is soliciting bids for a complete prepackaged chiller building supporting airport terminal expansion and existing airport infrastructure. The contractor must design, furnish, deliver, install, start up, test, and commission the building and its complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire-alarm, and life-safety systems. The scope includes water-cooled chillers, cooling towers and associated field piping, chilled- and condenser-water pumps, chemical treatment, heat tracing, refrigerant detection and emergency ventilation, electrical distribution and emergency-power provisions, structural and building-enclosure work, and connections to site utilities. The contractor must coordinate delivery with concurrent airport terminal, checkpoint expansion, and new concourse projects. The building automation scope includes a Niagara Framework-based supervisory platform, BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP integration, controllers, sensors, actuators, variable-frequency drives, graphics, alarms, trending, reporting, remote access, commissioning, training, and integration with the airport-wide automation network. The base bid includes two chillers and two cooling-tower cells; an add alternate provides a third chiller and third cooling-tower cell with associated piping, controls, electrical work, testing, and commissioning. The performance-based design must comply with applicable codes and standards established by the Authority Having Jurisdiction. Addenda require signed acknowledgment pages, including signed copies of Addenda 1 and 2.
