Description
Escambia County is soliciting bids to manufacture and deliver 91 pre-manufactured bus shelters for Escambia County Area Transit. The shelters must include advertising space on each side and solar-powered lighting. Quantities are 81 three-seat shelters, 9 six-seat shelters, and 1 twelve-seat shelter, with expedited delivery offered as an additional line item. Deliveries will occur in four lots of approximately 25 shelters, with the first shipment due no later than November 30, 2026, and subsequent shipments approximately every 30 days until all shelters are delivered. The successful bidder must provide firm pricing, relevant product literature, approved-equivalent documentation when applicable, and compliance with ADA, OSHA, federal CDBG-DR, domestic-preference, recovered-materials, licensing, and other applicable requirements. The solicitation requires a 5% bid bond or qualifying cashier's/certified check; payment and performance bonds and insurance certificates are required from the successful bidder after award. The bid must be submitted electronically through the County's e-procurement portal.
