Description
The City of Pensacola Housing Department is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured professional real estate title search providers for a non-exclusive, as-needed agreement. Services will support properties participating in Community Development Block Grant, Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery, HOME Investment Partnerships, and State Housing Initiatives Partnership programs, as well as vacant or undeveloped parcels that may require substantial rehabilitation, replacement, or property buyout. Required work includes ownership and encumbrance reports, root-of-ownership and encumbrance reports, and 50-year chain-of-title reports identifying deeds, wills, conveyances, mortgages, easements, liens, unpaid taxes, and other encumbrances. The City may award multiple contracts or reject all responses.
