Description
The Vermont Department of Buildings and General Services is seeking one or more contractors to conduct online and on-site auctions for state vehicles, equipment, supplies, and other surplus property. Online auction requirements include an established auction platform and bidder audience, vehicle and commercial-equipment experience, configurable starting and reserve prices, real-time bidding history, proxy bidding, marketing, payment processing, bidder reporting, and related transaction support. On-site services include planning, setup, advertising, previews, auction-day personnel and equipment, audio or video recording, catering, portable restrooms, payment collection, reconciliation, buyer documentation, and cleanup. The response must include a cover letter, technical response, price schedule, references for at least three similar customers from the last 12 months, applicable reporting samples, a signed Certificate of Compliance, and a redacted technical response if applicable. Contracts will run for 24 months with up to three additional 12-month renewal periods, with an anticipated start date of November 1, 2026. The solicitation permits electronic submission by email or through Vermont's eProcurement System, subject to the stated single-searchable-PDF and file-size requirements for email submissions.
