Description
The City of Montpelier, Vermont is requesting proposals for flood elevation services at 201 State Street. The project involves jacking the existing building and lowering it onto a new foundation, demolition and disposal of the existing foundation, excavation for the new foundation, installation of new concrete walls and piers, foundation coating and insulation, backfill and grading, and installation of a new basement slab. Contractors will need to coordinate with carpentry, plumbing, heating, and electrical contractors who will be retained under separate contracts. Proposals should specify the work scope the contractor is bidding on.
