Description
The Vermont Department for Children and Families, through its Family Services Division, is seeking one or more contractors to provide standard transportation for children and youth in state custody or referred for services. Transportation may include trips to supported family time, family decision-making meetings, family visits, school, appointments, and other related activities throughout Vermont and out of state, with particular need in the Bennington, Brattleboro, and Springfield districts. Bidders may also provide supported family time services, formerly known as supervised visitation, creating a safe environment for children and noncustodial parents and providing guidance, modeling, assistance, and visit documentation. Contractors must meet driver, vehicle, background-check, child-safety, insurance, reporting, and service-continuity requirements. Proposals must include a cover letter, technical response, references, price schedule, signed Certificate of Compliance, and the required applicant and release-of-information forms.
