Description
The Town of Hardwick is seeking bids from qualified contractors to repair flood damage to the North Main Street Stormwater System. The repair-in-kind work includes replacing one 18-inch HDPE flow-check valve, approximately 59 cubic yards of common fill, and approximately 24 cubic yards of dry-laid-up cut stone, along with excavation, erosion and sediment controls, site stabilization, and restoration. The contractor must restore the damaged portions to their pre-disaster design, function, capacity, dimensions, and footprint without expanding, relocating, redesigning, or otherwise modifying the existing system, embankment, or retaining wall. Work must comply with applicable FEMA, local, state, and federal requirements, including environmental and historic preservation requirements. Proposals must include proposed start and completion dates and two references for similar work. Required certificates of insurance are due before contract execution.
