Description
The Town of East Montpelier is soliciting funding requests for inclusion in its FY2028 budget, covering July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028. Organizations must complete the town’s funding request form and provide information about the requesting organization, program description, service area, individuals served, services provided to town residents, staffing, collaboration, and preventative services. Applicants must also provide detailed financial information, including the basis for the requested amount, intended use of funds, grant-related local financial commitments, tax-exempt status, income sources, expenditures, and paid and volunteer staffing levels. Organizations operating multiple programs with separate budgets or funding sources must submit a separate form for each program. Supplementary information may be included, and the committee may require applicants to defend their requests at its annual meeting.
