Description
The California Department of State Hospitals is conducting market research for licensed compounding pharmacies capable of providing sterile intramuscular compound clozapine for patient care across its five-hospital system. Potential future services would include compliant sterile compounding under USP <795>, <797>, and <800>; required pharmacy licensure; quality management, environmental monitoring, potency testing, sterility assurance, batch records, and certificates of analysis; and secure, temperature-controlled delivery to all five facilities. Respondents may also describe expedited emergency delivery capabilities and access to clinical experts. This RFI requests a written response addressing licensure, staffing and expertise, relevant experience, certifications, experience with forensic psychiatric facilities or large healthcare systems, recommendations, and estimated service costs. Respondents must also submit the provided RFI Cover Sheet. This is market research and not a competitive solicitation or commitment to purchase services.
