Description
Orange County Animal Services is seeking a distributor, dealer, or authorized manufacturer representative to provide veterinary medical supplies and pharmaceuticals on an as-needed basis for routine preventative wellness and surgical care. The contractor must carry at least 75% of the items listed in the sample order form, provide a minimum catalog discount, and submit pricing for at least 75% of those items. Products must be new, unused, current-production items, properly labeled and packaged, and compliant with applicable regulatory requirements. Limited-shelf-life products must have at least six months remaining before expiration when shipped. Deliveries must be freight-included to the designated Animal Services facility within five calendar days after receipt of an order, with expedited shipping available when approved. The contractor must manage back orders, substitutions, discontinued products, recalls, returns, reporting, catalog pricing, and customer service. The proposal must include technical information about catalog capabilities, manufacturers, distribution centers, delivery, ordering, billing, returns, and reporting, along with the completed fee schedule and required County compliance documentation.
